I appreciate that in normal circumstances it’s considered poor forum etiquette to link to your own posts / threads – but in this particular case I thought – why not?

Hi all,

Well since im the guy thats wileded the tin opener I thought id comment as I seem to have opened a can of worms with just an honest request. It wasnt meant to stand on anyones toes or cause any hardahip was just interested in a unusual airframe that are very rarely seen. I understand bout some guys spoiling it for the rest of us but as they say theres always a bad egg that has to spoil it. Congrats on the collection and hope you get them all restored.

Regards

Hi all,

Had this lovely PM from the man himself....

'Post me your address an ill invite anyone round your private property . All
my Aircraft are no the net so look why should people work very hard then
let pure idiots in . Go an see if some pop star will let you poke round
there collection of Cars or paintedings . You and your kind will always
think youve a right to everything . Work 12 hours a day for 20 years an
thenlet idiots damage what you have saved up for . send me your address'

I had a little chuckle when I read it..... :P

Whereabouts of Saab Draken A-011

Subjects like this are exactly why I've hardly bothered with meaningful contributions to FC over recent months. People in the past have helped, constructively criticised and engaged in some nice light hearted banter and that seems to have been replaced by some pretty rude and juvenile baiting by people. Once upon a time a thread like this would have been locked and people would have moved on, there's more to life people come on!

Cheers,

Rob

So we have found that this chap keeps a small selection of aircraft for his own pleasure,
we have to understand this, they are many car collections hidden away from public eyes and many other collections.
this topic is on the road to nowhere.
