Turkey, Greece, Iran. South Korea recently retired theirs.
Turkey and Greece definitely still fly F-4's. They both are sending a pair to RIAT. So do Iran. Both Iran and Turkey are expected to operate them into the 2030s

Yep. Only the numbers and signage during this closure. The procedures are probably in Augusts AIRAC cycle and that will be when it "officially" changes to 05/23

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread

There are no US Navy bases close to the UK and they do have the Boeing P-8 Poseidon which is a jet aircraft and sub hunter and replaced the turbo prop P3 Orion, Grumman C-2 Greyhound a twin-engine, high-wing cargo aircraft and Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye. USN do still operate a handful of P-3's - ...

Wouldn’t this mean f-35’s have to taxi out as per f-15’s do rather than victor north?
I really don't know but the NOTAM only mentioned Victor Ramp not the taxiway

By the way is it Taxyway or Taxiway also taxy or taxi ? Both seem correct
Taxi / Taxiway

I've noticed that searches on airframes.io aren't returning any messages dated later than around 0700z yesterday (26 December). Has anyone else noticed the same? The developer is aware and implementing a fix. Unfortunately that fix could take a while to apply. Last ETA earlier on was 40 hours. Esse...

This is the message released by AFSOC at exactly 0000UTC on December 7th. Lt Gen Tony Bauernfeind, AFSOC Commander, directed an operational standdown of the Air Force CV-22 fleet Dec. 6, 2023, to mitigate risk while the investigation continues on the Nov. 29, 2023 CV-22 mishap near Yakushima, Japan....

Re: acars.adsbexchange

Another slightly annoying feature is that the ICAO address ( hexcode) is stripped from some? Messages For example search today on RCH861 - finds some messages for the C-17 10-0215 routing out of Prestwick to UTDD Dushanbe, Tajikistan - hexcode AE4D68 : However a search on AE4D68 returns zero result...

You could subscribe to PlanesTV and have that running on your phone, it's the same commentary
Issue with that is PlanesTV add a delay on the steam in addition to latency. Incase anything happens and they need to cut the steam.

The USN museum at Pensacola has just reopened, or will soon, to the general public; it had been shut because of covid then only reopened to service personnel and families and friends. So a change of general restrictions might be underway. I would get in touch with the museum at Pima to ask your que...

The last time the B1s came to the UK was oct 2021 I think [c/s REMUS? ]. On that occasion they tracked down the Irish Sea to Valley did a quick orbit then went into the NWMTA for a photo shoot with "Apollo" After a while there they then headed directly to the field. Going from memory they arrived a...
