"Dragon 21" I thankyou

Post by faithle55 » Thu Jun 05, 2014 6:36 pm

U2 80-1069 "Dragon21"

Just the one from across the heat haze at FFD

A parting wave from the "Star-man"
He really was a top man, came outside and said hello to a few of us, asked what channels we were listening on, when he came out to taxi, told the tower he would hold for the photographers for 30 seconds and gave us all a wave.

BUT who is Chris Pocock!!!
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Chris Pocock is well known for his well informed books on the U2 over the years!
At least when James May had a ride in a U2 they found a seat for him, and didn't shove him in the Q-bay !! :D

Chris is to the Dragon Lady what Paul Crickmore is to the Blackbird, both well respected authors. I wonder if Chris is a forum member?

What a good sense of humour!

I'm thinking someone should start a thread with these U2 messages on, didn't Mike have a"mention" too?

Are they still watching you Mike?
Great to see such rapport between enthusiasts and aircrew!
