RAF Coningsby Visit

Hi Folks
Pretty new to this Forum so hello. I hail from Manchester and after watching the Typhoons at Southport Airshow and speaking to a few of the guys on the Typhoon stand they told me to go along to RAF Coningsby as I'd get to see a fair few taking off and landing there. Is there a good day to go or is it all down to luck? If any of you could help I'd really appreciate it.
