Prince of Wales Flying Competition

Post by Cheesy » Mon Jun 25, 2012 5:25 am

Morning all,

The RAF Valley Prince of Wales Competition is being held on 26 Jun 12. This should result in a reasonably high sortie rate from Valley and, depending on the mandated route, a reasonable amount of Hawk traffic through the loop.

All the best,

Cheesy

Does this mean, no frontline jet activity that day through the loop ?

If i was a betting man i would say yes. With a large amount of Hawks up during the day making there way around Wales to there targets i don't think they would like to bump into any other FJ in the area.

Although i believe it's not delayed until Wednesday due to weather tomorrow.
