Thunderbirds 2010 season serials

I have never noticed this before but it would appear that during the Air Show off season the T-Bird's carry ( What I presume to be ) the last 3 numbers of their serial where the team member number would usually appear on the air intake. So far I have been able to get 4 of the number's from the aircraft from photo's I took on Friday. All of the presumed serials were previously noted with the Thunderbirds so my theory would be correct. Here they are.

" 880 " which I assume to be 92-3880 F-16CJ


" 392 " which I assume to be 91-0392 F-16CJ


" 898 " which I assume to be 92-3898 F-16CJ


" 888 " which I presume to be 92-3888 F-16CJ


If any one can confirm this theory I would be grateful.

Great spot I did notice at RIAT they can change those panels very easily, are they some kind of magnetic patch? In which case those numbers will probably be painted onto the actual aircraft & if they wanted to cover them they just stick a number over it or a white patch.

Always wondered where the serials were, they cant have not been there!
