A couple of old wrecks?

Post by billydog » Sun Dec 18, 2011 11:26 am

This ones been bugging me for some time, and thought someone out there in FC land may know the answer.
This picture is taken from the front cover of Suede's 1997 album "Sci-Fi Lullabies".
Shows a decaying Lightning and in the background, a Hunter.
Anyone know if this is a genuine location, and if so, whereabouts it is? :S

The Lightning is XP702, look about three-quarters down this link for a similar photo and is indeed Otterburn :- http://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk ... istory.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That would explain the bullet holes all over the Lightning!
Many thanks for your help Mike. :thumb:

That's a Hunter Paddy, I've had a rummage and it should be an FGA 9, which was a composite of XG264 and the rear fuselage of XF445.
I think the Lightnings and Hunter/s have long gone though.
