It was a fantastic show. The best at Rougham for a few years. Some cracking shots you've got there. I was snapping away from the pub garden at the end of the runway, and none of my shots looked even half as good as yours!
Brilliant... thanks for posting them up.

You're spot on there... Dan Griffith did give a wonderful display in the Mk9. The Gnat did a good little show on saturday, but was def missing his buddy from last year! Shame not to have the Sabre or Strikemaster this year, but all in all it was a good little show. Theres a new guy running Rougham at the moment, so who knows what he'll pull out of the bag for next year?!
As long as there's an airshow and the airfield hasn't been turned into a housing estate then its all good!

That's fantastic news, missed that in the local paper ???? I live across from the airfield & there were some concrete WSCC bollards sticking out of the ground in the field & guess these were markers for development, but can't see them any more, so that probably explains why they have disappeared. I wonder if the football pitch plan is still going to go ahead?

I totally agree about the BBMF display - very brief I thought & the lady photographer standing next to me said exactly the same about the lack of a top side pass. I was impressed to see a large aircraft like the C47 there as I thought the last time something that large being there was when the Plane sailing Catalina was present before they chopped off the end of the runway with that link road.

sorry to be a messenger with bad news, heard the other day that it was the last airshow to be held at Rougham which is a darn shame as it was a great little show ,the estate office are not holding anymore events there, airfield is not closing so anyone got the money to put on an airshow they are willing to rent out the airfield. so where do we start??

If thats the way things are going, then i'm GUTTED! :@
Lets hope a big sponser sees an opportunity and steps in to save the event.
A great shame.

The estate office is not organising any more aishows which means its over but until someone can afford to rent the airfield out then their is no more airshow. Ryno
