FA Cup 2025

Post by slogen51 » Sat May 17, 2025 1:32 pm

As a Man U fan I have somewhat lost interest in football this season! But what is happening to the FA Cup?

Kick off at 4:30 and the Premier league hasn't even finished!

Outrageous.

"This year is the first of a six-year deal during which the FA Cup final will take place on the penultimate weekend of the Premier League season. In the Football Association's updated schedule, the final will be staged on the Saturday, with any planned Premier League fixtures moved to the Sunday."

The FA Cup worked its magic again; great result and really good for football.

(Now can we get the results of the 115 charges against City?)

Well done Palace. Next step is to find City guilty, bust them down to League 2.

Then I'll hopefully be seeing them at London Road in a couple of seasons

Have to say I only saw the last 10 minutes but I am really pleased for the club and the dignity all the players and officials showed after beating a very rich team who have been brought down by legislation but still formidable.Apart from the result for me will be a memory of Palace fans crying before the final whistle because they were so near and dreading a failure and City fans crying because they lost.To any Palace fans I would say keep the faith from what your chairman said after the game ,I think he meant it.As a Celtic fan we went through c**p and came through it due to the persistance of one man and you might be the same.Appreciate it might be tuesday before Place fans read this .
Well done the Eagles/Glaziers.do you still have the Eagle and woz e air.

Hope none of you remember tomorrow morning its going to hurt

10 minutes of injury time was unbearable

A former work colleague whom I have lost touch with was a massive Palace fan and our boss was a Liverpool supporter. I shall long remember the day when Palace beat Liverpool in the FA Cup semi final- i think we were working overtime somewhere and had the radio on, what a day. Palace went on to lose to my team Man Utd

If you are still topside Dave I hope you enjoyed Saturday and not suffering too much today

Eagles Rock!

That deliberate handball by Henderson though, and VAR somehow didn't take any action! :O

Imagine the furore if that had been the other way and had denied Palace the chance of scoring.
