Let's Call them Atmospheric...

Spent a couple of damp hours at Mildenhall first thing in hope of catching some white-tops.

RC-135W - 62-4131 departed in what was the better weather...

WC-135R - 64-14836 was on hand for a brief record shot...

MC-130J - 13-5776 departed into the clag...

TC-135W - 62-4127 waited for the worst weather of the morning before departing...

I'll be back soon to try to catch the RC-135V & WC-135R on the move (ideally in some better weather), but, for now, thanks for looking.

Would have made for a great morning at the Hall had the sun been shining. Nice to see this gathering of white tops nonetheless, and good that they were still visible as they climbed out past John's Field.

Yes - taken from an almost identical angle, they certainly show some of the antennae that the TC-135W is lacking compared to the RC-135W.

Next time I head over to Mildenhall, I really must choose some better weather.
