G'Day from a sunny Australia and exercise Pitch Black 22 in the the Northern Territory at RAAF Base Darwin. All of the shots were taken outside the base on the approach except the ground shot of the ZZ F-15 which was taken at the open day.
Absolutely superb and some rarely seen types. Thanks for sharing these with us and I suppose it would be wishful thinking that we might see some of these in the UK one day.
Great shots and such variety but must wonder what a slog for the crew of the CN235 to get there.
The Casa is based in New Caledonia where the French Rafales visited prior to arriving at Darwin. It’s operating out of Tindal for the exercise alongside other players.
Great shots, a good variety of types there. particularly like the C-130s. I assume the J tanker is from Japan. We have a couple at Cambridge for maintenace at the moment.
Nothing not to like there, cracking set and great variety, that is what you call an exercise, worth travelling half way round the world for . Thanks for sharing.
