Vive la France....in Texas

Post by hawgwash » Sat Dec 12, 2020 9:09 am

I had to get out of the house today but thunderstorms all morning prevented all flying at Carswell. I went to Alliance for a few hours in the afternoon hoping to catch some movements and was rewarded with some former Armée de l'Air types to include EMB 312F, former French AF 501, now N501VK of Valkyrie Aero and resident Mirage F1B's N601AX ex-507 and N607AX ex-517 of ATAC. Some other aircraft found their way in front of my camera as well. The F1's fly several sorties per day so are pretty easy to catch.
