On a blustery day an RAF C130J made the first visit of the type to London City Airport - it was just a routine training run (something the RAF BAe 146s do occasionally) but a nice surprise no the less.
After having reverse taxied in to a parking spot between the airlines it stayed approximately 2 hours and on departure the Airfield Fire Service gave it a water cannon salute.
Here's hoping it isn't another 30 years until the next visit and more importantly that the A400M has a need for some step approach / short field training soon!
