Why do you have this as ASY517 on your blog but ASY216 on your post? As far as Mode-S is concerned they were broadcasting as ASY517/518 respectively yesterday and today. Were they in fact calling ASY216 on RT both days?

Just re-read your post. Very confusing posting the arrival of yesterdays C-17 today and not including todays arrival. Any confirmation of what RT callsign they used appreciated for both.

Both due to depart today. One 16:00, the other 18:00.

Similarly, the AN124 is due to depart at 16:00.

HTH the guys at the fence!

Cheers! If anyone can update when they are on the move on the ground it would be a great help. I am in London so hoping for an OTT sighting (if they come this way of course)

'Fraid you won't see them as they are going straight to Valley, then Prestwick, then Lossiemouth.

16.28BST On the move now for Valley, plotting by Tewkesbury at 650ft..

Any sign of the C-17s departing? Trying to decide whether to make a dash from Reading.

Thanks
Rob

I know that and this is a thread about the C17s. That's why I asked the question after Bob said I wouldn't see them as they were going to Lossie

Obviously he did but as he posted in a thread that is only to do with the C17s I queried it!

The C-17s and S-70H-60s are closely related and sometimes such threads get "intertwined", which can be a bit annoying but usually sorts itself out.

Surprising that someone who has never posted before in 6 years of membership turns to insults and belligerence - not the best way if you want people to be helpful.

Is there any need for that? The thread is C17s not MH60s!
