Hi Balders

The academy F-22 is a realy nice kit and there is loads of eduard brass on the market for it if you fancy a bit of detailing. But it should be a nice build SOTB. As for the F-15C the hasegawa kit is nice and so is the Tamiya 48th C but as me and Ben have found out the hasegawa F-15E is missing vitakl bits to make a convincing E but it does build a good D  . I would go for the Academy F-15E as I think it is more acurate.

Academy kit - DEFINITELY recommend this. I'm just about to dig in and start mine (as I really am getting frustrated with my F-15). Detail is all fantastically crisp, and to scale (something which the Hasegawa one recieved criticism on I think?). You also get two canopies - on clear, one tinted gold. No seam lines in them either.

And the decal sheet.... :Wow:

I think you can build every special marked (Eg, 1stFW, 3rdOG, 525thFS) jet in the air force, and by cutting the decals you can build almost any regular one as well

100% thumbs up.
