If you have planning the visit in Piacenza his Tornado are now all in Ghedi with the 6°Stormo and the base have not planes and now is open for a possible redeployment and there is now only the Piacenza Airport Headquarter for minor activities' without aircraft.
Ciao Claudio (again!). Just realised that Ghedi is even closer to my in-laws in Valdagno so the car rental is on again! I will be in Italy first week of January; do you think the unit at Ghedi will be flying then or it is unpredictable? Grazie, PeterPetepilot wrote:Ciao Claudio. Thank you again Claudio. I will make arrangements to visit Ghedi, and I'm sure I will be lucky. If not, a nice ristorante, with some Grappa....coldwater wrote:Hi dear Friend.Valdagno nice place !!!! Ghedi I think that's not a problem behind a permission of the military authorities and that the 155th place already 'his mission as Piacenza. The problem is the meteo.Ghedi is located in a basin and its climate is quite problematic and in January may be problems; but it is said and 'can also have a bright sun .Only luck. that surely...you will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
