Full disclosure (as they say!):

1. No, I wasn't a transatlantic stowaway in the Q-bay...

2. I spent some time with this excellent U-2 Busy Relay team on Tuesday/Wednesday last week. I did suggest to them that, they having done a 'shout-out' for 'Mike B' last year, they might consider doing one for me :-)

3. After I left Fairford on Wednesday afternoon, they duly did so, evidently...

Huggy,

Amazing. For you to even log in to Fighter Control to take the time to send us the message is incredible. I think it really shows what an understanding you have of the respect we hold for all of you, and its small gestures like that that will keep your popularity over here at a permanent high!

Thank you!

Paul

Thanks for taking the time to reply Huggy! I was there for your departure but unfortunately didn't realise you came out and said hi until after! Really nice to have a bit more insight to the story :D

Shame we may not get to speak to you at Fairford in the future but all the very best for your retirement.
