Phew - that's a relief, been worried.

Hi Sarah, thanks for letting us know how shaun is - he is really missed. Please convey my very best wishes to Shaun for a speedy recovery, and please accept my best to yourself. We look forward to hearing from him when he is able.

I've only just noticed this thread and I didn't realise Shaun was in hospital until now.
Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery mate :thumb:

Might be best to postpone our Mildenhall trip then - give him my best Sarah, and many wishes for a speedy recovery :)

Hi all

They have finally let me loose from hospital    I told them coming from the fens wasn't an affliction but they wouldn't listen

I have a blood clot on the lung (again) which I was being treated for last year, but for some reason it wasn't totally gone and I only found out after doing 4 18 hour shifts in a row, and I got chronic chest pains. I was rushed to addenbrooks hospital by my boss and then brought home as there wasnt anything they could do that night. I was then admitted the next day and thats where my arse has been until today. So there is a lesson there, dont kill your self at work because you cant build kits when you are dead

Thanks for your kind comments, sarah has been reporting back to me as I asked her to and she told me what she had written and what was wrote in reply. Im not quite up to full strength and wont be for a bit but I am with it (just) so if I dont respond very quick please bare with me. Sarah placed me a cheer up order from model hobbies for the new trumpeter 48th SU-24, F-100D and 32 swordfish mk II so I should be kept ocupied once I can stay awake for more than a couple of hours at a time as the pills they have given me on top of the wolferine make me very drowsy. I will try and do a review of these kits as and when.

Thanks once again for your coments, this just proves what a friendly forum this is.

Welcome back Shaun, good to hear from you.

Your good lady has clearly been very kind to you, the 48th Su24 and F-100D sound great but a 1:32 String bag - no, that's not for you ... ... ... I'm PM you my address for onward delivery

Seriously, glad to hear you're on the mend, take it easy and enjoy the rest and don't go back to work until you're absolutely 100%.

Good to hear you're getting better - and yes that is a very good lesson - you can't do kits when you're dead!

Best wishes
Steve

The Dark Lord Returns!

Good to hear you are on the mend Shaun, take your time though. Too many models at once might produce some feeling of giddiness and elation, only good in small doses!

Hope to see you around soon buddy, let me know when you are well enough, and we can plan our Mildenhall trip. :)
