Just arrived at the boatyard to catch Tarnish 5 in ZR409 Oman Typhoon landing, T1 Hawk XX339 on a low approach. Then Tarnish 9 in RSAF Tornado ZE119 nice swept wing pass and land. As I approached Freckleton I could see 2 Wildcats lining up for 25 runway. Miffed I missed them.
Thanks for looking
Regards
Mickey

Re: BAe systems Warton 13th March 2018
Great shots, Mickey.
The RSAF Tornado looks stunning loaded up and swept back for business.
I must get up to Warton again. It's been many years.

I've just had a thought.......we are due to retire our Tonkas in a year or so. Will the Saudi Tonkas still be at Warton for the foreseeable future?

Great Pics as ever Mickey, sorry I missed you yesterday, was only at corner to see NS9 & ZE119 depart, watched them arrive from work.Dan D'Air wrote:I've just had a thought.......we are due to retire our Tonkas in a year or so. Will the Saudi Tonkas still be at Warton for the foreseeable future?
Regarding Saudi Tornado, the rumour is its due back to sunnier climates in the next quarter....
