Update to my previous post. According to HAC on Facebook, the DH.9 is NOT flying into Fairford.

Just seen this on UKAR, looks like a possible U-2 heading to RIAT. If this article is correct http://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/ ... ion-makers

Today's updated 22-06-2017
American fighters old and new will come together in the skies over RIAT 2017 next month to help celebrate the US Air Force's 70th anniversary, during a USAF Heritage Flight display. This will see the present-day F-22A Raptor flown by Maj Dan 'Rock' Dickinson of the 1st Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, accompanying P-51D Mustang Frenesi operated by Comanche Fighters of Houston, Texas, and piloted by Dan Friedkin.

The Irish Air Force confirms a PC-9M turboprop trainer and an EC-135P helicopter.

The Pakistan Air Force makes a welcome return with a C-130E Hercules.

A range of helicopters announce for the static display; Army Air Corps Apache, Royal Navy Merlin HM.2, German Navy Sea King replaces the P-3C Orion which has cancelled, and the future of the RAF's rotary training will be making its RIAT debut; the Airbus Helicopters H135 Juno and H145 Jupiter.
A large list of static civilian items confirm, including a modified Bombardier Global 6000, a rare Fouga Magister as well as Textron's Scorpion and Grand Caravan.

One wonders if that 'modified Global 6000' could be a Cambridge based example?
