Fishing Ospreys

Post by Ross Forsyth » Thu Sep 01, 2016 3:16 pm

Well now that the Ospreys have began their long journeys back to Africa I guess I can call it a day for this years opportunites of photographing these amazing birds,a firm favourite of mine especially since
I started photographing Wildlife back in 2008.Lots of very early morning starts and some very high ISO settings anywhere upto 10000 as these birds don`t wait for the light to improve!
Anyway here are some images taken from a hide in Aviemore this summer.

No not Rothiemurcus,Gordon Mcleods hide in the centre of Aviemore, far more reliable location than Rothie.

Well done, cracking set of images. I've spent quite a bit of time after this beautiful bird but no luck so far. Always next year when they return from Africa.

Thanks for posting, you have captured them really well.
