I wonder what will be coming up to the show from Fairford appart from the Buff. Are this shows aircraft working out of Newcastle again. Or will the majority again come from fairford. Also if any organisers read this thread can you please try and get the Raptor
Re: Sunderland Airshow 24-25th July
Any word on the final line up?
I am probably going Saturday and then Sunday at Newcastle.

There's no Red Arrows schedule posted for this weekend yet. Am I safe to assume they'll depart to Sunderland from Farnborough rather than night stop at Newcastle
I have many toys. Amongst them are a camera and a scanner.

Team Orange was broken at Fairford when i left at 1630 local (one of my Eng colleagues towed it to the North side). Can't see the B52 flying from Fairford as the airfield has to be handed back by the end of this week

Re: Sunderland Airshow 24-25th July
Is there any news on which participants will be based from Newcastle?
For those of you around on 26th, as part of the 75th anniversary celebrations there's a program of interesting civilian flights planned (I've just posted this over on Civilian Aviation). To accommodate spectators they're opening an enclosure on the Samson pan.
Anyone know if there'll be any military participants from Sunderland still at Newcastle on Monday?

Re: Sunderland Airshow 24-25th July
A B-52 is displaying both days (Sat & Sun)
2 of them are parked at Fairford & I believe one of them will fly up each day & display over the Seaburn sea front ....only chance of seeing them at Newcastle is if they request an overshoot.
One of them was up here yesterday (Wed 21st) having a practice stooge about over the display area and there is a notam posted for further practices on Friday between 11:45 & 17:15 so I guess this will be for stuff arriving at Newcastle tomorrow.
Also a notam for an evening display over Seaburn on Friday between 19:45 & 22:15 .... this will most likely be a Dutch F-16
who does a dusk display with lots of afterburner & flares
Hope this helps & you get some good views
