Don't know if anyone on here has heard of Them Crooked Vultures but those that like bands like the Queens of the Stone Age will be a fan. A super group featuring Josh Homme (QOTSA), John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) and Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters). Not to be missed and here is a song by them to whet your appetite:

Just put their greatest hits CD in the car, it's a compilation with The Beautiful South. You wouldn't believe that they had so many hits (22) between them!!

Of all the years 1959 is my favourite and the song by Wink Martindale is my number 1 choice.

Have to say I've found this series of 'Later...' bit of a disappointment. I saw PiL at Bexhill and they were superb, on Later they sounded flat and uninterested. Last night I was in the audience for the recording and live show, the sound in the studio was superb, watched it back at home and again it sounded flat with no dynamic so somewhere between Maidstone and my front room in Tonbridge the sound is being ruined. In short, don't take the sound on this series as an indicator of how the bands actually sound live, it's not representative.
