V-22 Ospreys

Post by GarryL » Thu Jun 18, 2015 8:24 am

Hi

Does anyone have any information on the two Ospreys heading Eastbound lowish level over Northallerton last night at C 21.45 ?

Quite a surprise to see them but a good one.

Thanks

Garry

Thanks David

Do you know where they were from and going to - seemed an unusual type for this area ?

Cheers

Mildenhall to Mildenhall via somewhere up north, quite common really.

Anybody have an idea of where the Ospreys go once they are up here (yorkshire) especially when they are low level?

Was down at "The Hall" this week on at least 2 nights the ospreys routed via Linton then went to low flying area in the lakes.......

If I'd know that before I went may have visited Linton lol

I was doing some photography at Brimham Rocks in Nidderdale and saw one heading east just to the south of me at about 8 / 8.30 - didn't see it on the return though. First time I've seen one flying! :thumb:

I don't think they were that low over Linton though Dave?
Just used it as a waypoint.

But they're not Colin, they often route via Leeming and Linton when going low level in the lakes.

They didn't land. Nowhere in this thread does it say they landed. :)
