This latest installment finds Phil on a world tour of Belgium, Holland, Germany and France, covering shows at Landivisiau, Kleine Brogel, Soesterberg , St Dizier, Bretigny-sur-Orge and La Ferte Alais in an eight-day period. Indeed, the last three done in a single day!!
Starting with the French Navy at Landivisiau:
A wheeled Alouette II
Everyone loves a Crusader!
On to Kleine Brogel.
Belgian T-33
Everyone loves Phantoms!!
Next stop, St Dizier.
A well-travelled Super Sabre
Nice shiny two-seat Jaguar
Now Bretigny-sur-Orge, home of the French version of Boscombe Down, where everything appeared to be sponsored by Tango...
Mirage-nosed Vautour
Wassmer CE.43
Meteor NF.11
Some 'standard' Mirages
Finally, if you go down in the woods at La Ferte Alais, you're in for a big surprise

Very nice!. Meteor 7 is one of those rareish ones with an F.8 tail, rather than the standard one. Does anyone know why this was done?

The Meteor is an NF.11 not T.7. The French Test Centre had a small fleet of them for trials work purchased second hand from Britainjem60 wrote:Very nice!. Meteor 7 is one of those rareish ones with an F.8 tail, rather than the standard one. Does anyone know why this was done?

Graf. Of course it's an 11!!!. What a prat.!! Very, very senior momoent. I've just lost what little credibility I had on this site!!.
What was in my mind was that I once saw, in the Israeli museum, a T.7 that DID have an '8' tail, and I believe Martin Bakers T.7 is so equipped. Just wondered why. Blimey, I can't even recognise an 11!!. Don't get old..................
