Thinking of staying over night in the Cosford area, Saturday or Sunday night. Do any of the local farmers open fields for camping / spotting ?

http://www.hungerhillfarm.co.uk looks to be your closest - about 8 Miles away further up the A41 towards Weston.

Most of the land surrounding Cosford is owned by the Earl of Bradford's estate, so unless the estate makes a blanket decision, I doubt wether local farms will open their fields for camping.....even if they wanted too.
If at first you don't succeed -it's probably best not to take up parachuting

Noticed last night that The Bradford Arms on the A5 @ Wheaton Aston has camping onsite - this may be closer and you can cut across country to get to the show rather than use the main roads :P

Good edition, but a little repetitive considering RIAT have it already, and no Rafale for us this year. Other than that its shaping up to be a stunning show.

On Sarurday 13 June, the day before the show, the Air Yorkshire group are running a coach trip down to the museum. Will there be a chance of any 'bonus' sightings of aircraft for the show arriving or having already arrived?

Cheers

Steve
