We might have to wait until the end of Cold War 2 to see any of them in the UK again... even though I wished for a few of them myself :)

Apart from that, I'd like to see:

Wing Walkers
The Blades

No Spitfires or Hurricanes. They're slow and boring.

Just because Canada didn't have a major role in the war it doesn't mean they don't deserve to keep a Lancaster , it's like saying because the RAF didn't operate Messerschmitts (that weren't captured) we shouldn't have them over here,

It is not differing viewpoints that people can't accept it is belittling Canada's wartime contribution, I am sure the families of the 37,000 Canadians Killed along with a further 53,000 wounded would view your comments very differently. When Britain was facing its darkest times it was the Commonwealth countries like Canada that stood by our side. Be grateful their sacrifice enables us to live in a society where inane uneducated comments can still be made. The price of democracy!

Hear Hear!
Whilst I agree with the sentiment about accepting differing opinions, there is, I feel, a thin line between an opinion and posting something that some DO find offensive in order to provoke a response and take the thread completely off topic! I have my own view ref the comment but will refrain from expressing it as it would just fuel the flames further!

Canada has every right to a Lancaster or three. After all, the did build a fair few as well as supply many aircrew to Bomber Command who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. In your case, freedom to spout nonsense
Spitfires and Hurricanes slow and boring? Don't talk nonsense. It's BoB75 year so they just have to feature.
There's a fine line between having a different opinion and trolling. You've crossed that line IMO.

Never in my post did I belittle Canada's contribution to the war. I said they didn't play a major role, which they didn't. The Commonwealth as a whole did.

Be grateful their sacrifice enabled you to completely misread a post and let you have a ride on your little high horse.
If 37,000 killed and 53,000 wounded isn't a major contribution then I don't know what is. Your remark is an insult to their memory.

So it's 'nonsense', in YOUR opinion. Funny how your's is allowed to be valid and mine isn't. You've done very well to trample upon the free speech and freedoms that you apparently hold so dear. Well done you. I didn't realise that calling Spitfires and Hurricanes slow and boring destroyed the fabric of the universe and essence of truth that is bestowed upon us all. I must be lying - how could I be so wrong.

One of the stupidest comments of all time.

If you're going to base contributions to the war in terms of death toll then I suppose Yugoslavia which had around 7x more war casualties than the Canadians played a far larger role, correct?

What about Romania's? 300,000 more there. Hungary? Another 300,000 there.

I suppose any country with a death toll higher than Canada's must have played a huge role, according to your outstanding logic.
There's only one person making stupid comments in this thread and that's you.
Anyway Master Brownhands, try using toilet paper in future and they won't get so dirty.
