Thanks Kyle
The highlight for me was the Canbarra with the two Hunters. Worth driving the 900 miles round trip.

Thanks Alan that's perfect, only thing I am short of is 2z Merlin in the maintenance hangar that faces the viewing area but I doubt that was in the public area of the airshow?

thanks

The merlin on the dummy deck is a EMU.
an "E"ngineers "M"ock "U"p. It has no rotor head or drive train fitted. It's does have a manufacturer number which I think is AV511? ? But I could be wrong.??
But here it is. Image

Hi all , Does the Harrier cockpit section coded "123" on display in C2 Hangar have a serial ? Also not previously mentioned was the RAF C-130J ZH873 that landed & did a short but welcome display . Cheers , Cloudhawk :thumb:

1 would have been the display Merlin which was ZH832,

The other 3 Merlins were for the Flypast which were ZH857, ZH832 and ZH827.

Also forgot all about this one.
Boing Scan eagle RM1 UAV. reg SE001. was on display over by the air cadets stand.
Wasn't sure if the serial was real or not. But quick search of the net showed it is :thumb:
Another one for us number crunchers. Lol.

[quote="buzzer"]Taken from the bog roof!! So there only for the record!
Looks like everyone gathered with the guys at the crash site (poor old Seafury :'( ) for a better look. Image
Guess I should have been at the other end to catch him lifting of..

....Pete, (and Graham, Malf) you didnt miss much from the other end, ( i wasn't lucky enough to be on base sadly, so just for you and the record I guess, lol) this was it, mind you it did look nice with lights charging for the fence. But it was very grey and damp.
