Just read your OP noticed the time difference, BBMF One had stopped flying at that time due to wind (if I have the correct day) I will work on the reg for the other one flying in the area for you, might take me 24 hours though so bear with me.

Struggling to match up what was about in what area on what day. There has been an american one about in the area, it did a Display over East Kirkby on the 16th, it could be that one that was seen. The details are: Douglas C47A-DC3 N473DC, It might be worth putting the registration into google image search and having a look to try and identify it.

Hi LincVRS

The one seen was over Conisborough near Doncaster and wore a roundel on the side, so looks like it would have been the BBMF mount.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Cool, at least there is an answer, I have OCD when it comes to finding information out when people ask and I hate not being able to answer it hehe

I flew our club's Cessna 172 into Waddington on Sunday 18th for the GA Day. Landed at 0935 local and was about half way through my bacon buttie when the BBMF Dakota did a low flypast through the overhead from Cby in the general direction as shown on the chart so this seems to tie up. The BBMF website has the Dak back at base before the time the original poster saw one.
