I would just like to say that today, on my 2nd visit to the WAVE, since John took it on, I sampled some of the food available :thumb:

I am glad to report that the bacon baps are not like the original WAVE "baps", oh no, they are now on a par with Adrian, at Coningsby :O :O :O

I would just like to be the first to say a huge WELL DONE!!! to Johns sister, ( whose name you still have not told us John...), for her sterling efforts. Do try to get along to the WAVE, they have a much expanded menu...

Cracking food, polite, professional service, well done that lady :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Oh, & proper mugs too... ;)

Sorry, I should said " & earthenware recepticles, with a handle, mounted for either right or left hand operation, designed to contain hot beverages, the aforementioned beverage, being contained within said recepticle by means of it cylindrical design, one end open, the other end sealed, the open end allowing for said beverage to be dispensed into said recepticle, then emptied from afore-afore mentioned recepticle by the end user, & very occasionally, my cat" :D

They should be better than those scabby small, brown glass knackered Pyrex mugs that Mrs Grumpy-Wumpy used to have.
"MAKE SURE THOSE MUGS ARE BACK BY TEN TO FOUR"
"WHY"
"BECAUSE WE SHUT AT FOUR".
(That conversation took place on the 11th of August last year(a Tuesday)after I spent £20 on a book  )

Surely you mean Pyrex recepticles, with a handle, mounted for either right or left hand operation, designed to contain hot beverages, the aforementioned beverage, being contained within said recepticle by means of it cylindrical design, one end open, the other end sealed, the open end allowing for said beverage to be dispensed into said recepticle, then emptied from afore-afore mentioned recepticle by the end user, & very occasionally, my cat"

I'll just get my coat.
