Airfix Stirling propellers

Post by Ferrari » Mon Dec 30, 2013 10:34 am

Hello all,

The propeller blades on my 1/72 Airfix Stirling came out of the box all bent (plus standing on one by mistake hasn't helped!)

Any advice on how to straighten them without bending, or even a retailer where you can get spares?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
Ferrari

Ask Airfix direct

http://www.airfix.com/contact-us/

They might charge P&P

I seem to recall heating them up with hot water might help make the plastic soft enough to straighten them ?

Many thanks Tim,

I'll try that if Airfix are unable to send new ones.
