I like that very much
I've said this before Nick, but I like the way you build your kits. Simple, honest, no fancy weathering, love it
Keep up the good work

Re: 1/72 Beginners entry Trumpeter Sea Fury FB11
She's coming along quite well, since the last update all control surfaces are on, cockpit is complete, and I am getting there with the wing centre section - all in all it won't be long until the Fury's looking like this...

I hope to be putting some photos up soon
She's looking more like a proper Fury every day...

Re: 1/48 Advanced Airfix Buccaneer [Updated 05/05]
Finally some progress.
Not really been in the mood lately and sanding the Bucc really put me off it as I hated it.
Back to photoetch now as I decided to stop messing around dryfitting the wingfold and actually do something. The main reason for this is that I'm trying to mix together the Eduard and Flightpath sets to get the best of both sets.
Here she is before paint
And after
heres the outboard wing section
After getting bored with that I decided to get on with the CBLS 100s that I got. These were really fiddly to do with them being so small.
and here they are in the body
Thats all for now. Will hopefully do some more this weekend with the hope of painting it before Duxford airshow. (I've just realised I've never actually met any of these deadlines I've set myself)
Thanks for looking

Re: 1/32 Italeri F-86F Sabre Update 08/05
Sorry for the lack of update for what seems like years, now have some proper progress, fuselage all glued up, painted and decal-ling commencing. After all the problems with the Al-clad I resorted to stripping all the paint off with wet and dry sand paper (took me all of 2 hours!!). New airbrush was ordered as the old one is properly knackered now but i was wary over buying more Al-clad as I wasn't sure of the cause of the problems I had had before. Finally got a tip off of a CI at the local squadron to try using a spray can, he says he has used them before when doing bare metal schemes and was impressed, so I gave it a go and voilà, perfecto. Put a coat of Varnish on with the new airbrush and then got down to decal-ling last night, done a bout a quarter of it so far. Used Microsol for the first time as well and am properly impressed at the finish it gives the decals. Anyway enough blabbering here are a couple of pics (unfortunately I seem to have lots the pictures of the engine work and now it is all closed up you cannot see it!)
Again C&C most welcome, am looking to finish decal-ling this weekend.

Ok update time ( yes i can hear you gasps of disbelief!). Resprayed the silver as i was doing my F-86 so she now looks like this, now the new airbrush has come i can probably get the green coat on relatively soon.
