Don't get a coffee. You will spill it!!!!. Wonderful, spectacular, awesome, fantastic, beautiful, orgasmic, I could go on, but I think I'll look at them again instead. Many thanks for posting these. It reminds me of why I have loved aviation for 57 years. :)

Coffee ? very large stiff drink I'd say, fantastic.
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

I echo the above and have to say they show how aviation should be shown and It makes me equally sad when you think of how the forces have shrank and how few of the types that we were used to seeing flying over our heads are now either scrapped or in museums, I prefer the latter. That said they belong in the wide blue yonder and still thrilling us all, thanks for sharring.

SWMBO: "Are you coming to bed?" Me: "I'll be up in a while dear" Infectious viewing and many long-lost friends there. Love the Jags, the Hunters, Buccs, F4s, great images of great aircraft!

I wonder what the record is for the longest gap between posts in the same thread - 7.5 years here so must be among the leaders!

Thanks for bringing this collection to my attention - I missed it in 2012 by the looks of it.

These are truly stunning. I feel that I recognise a few from mags/books when I was younger.

& to think these are all pre digital I'd guess so proper picture taking. Wonderful.
