1 x Typhoon tonight + probably an airspare.
Heard Edinburgh approach calling Jedi 71 just after the flypast, but never heard Jedi 71 calling back. Might need to put the original antenna back on the scanner, since I started using a smaller one the results haven't been the same.stu5748 wrote:Jedi 72 did the flypast tonight. I agree. A completely inaccurate report and one that I suspect is simply made up. Ive taken great delight in posting my views to this effect in the story's comments box.Mike R wrote:I lived in Edinburgh for 21 years and have always respected the Scotsman and Evening News newspapers, but not any more :-

Vandal - Interesting point. When I was listening to last night's display an aircraft going into EDI reported the same thing. The controller explained that this was likely to be from Amsterdam Approach (Vandal wrote:Only callsign I heard tonight was Jedi 11 (one one), only got chatter when informing control of run in and then when leaving the zone.
Seem to be getting a lot of interference on 121.2. Anyone else getting this?
