Well as I've been on here a week now I thought I'd best say hello, looking forward to another busy RIAT next month as I try and leave my Quarter on Fairford and trying not to run any of you guys over as you step in to the road trying to get photos.

Hi everyone - I cannot believe this, and think it proper rude, but I've been a member here since 2009 and never said helloo!
So......helloo
My name is Daryl and I live in Tattershall - which is right next to Coningsby. I'm not a photographer nor a number-cruncher but I am a huge aviation enthusiast and have been since my first airshow at RAF Halton back in 1977. I come from a large RAF family, from grandfathers to father and brothers-in-law.
I have been a flightsimmer for over ten years now, and the majority of simming I do is military-related, so a lot of the information on here is most welcome.
Through the wonder that is Tapatalk, I can now keep a constant eye on what's going on, thanks to the huge web of watchers right here - so thanks all for the info that people provide and hopefully I may be able to contribute my own info at some point.
Cheers
Daryl

Re: New to FC or not so new? Introduce yourself here.
Hi wayne here, iv always been in to aircraft for as far back as i can remember, i used to go to tollerton airshow back in the 80s in nottingham,me and a good friend of mine used to cycle miles to catch a glimps of
any aircraft we could. Our local airfield was hucknall ,they used to hold a pfa flyin every year, since then i decided that i need to capture these great days and brought myself a video camera, after many dv tapes
and hd drives later iv turned my attention to photography, im a complete noob to the photography world and this is my first airshow season with a eos digital camera( 2012) starting with cosford.I know what kind of pictures i want to take but finding that precise moment is a challenge, thats why i love it! hopefully you will all enjoy my pictures : )
