I cant wait for this eitherHighlandSniper wrote:My son is really excited over this one - I was very lucky and scored the E-2 in the FC BoMF auction earlier in the year, this will be a nice companion to it and I have some nice reference pix taken at Kinloss a few years back. On the downside, painting 26 passenger seats will be a bit of a bind
My thoughts too - the one I was aboard at Kinloss had fewer seats.VIDAR700 wrote:Can always make it with less seats as they dont always fit them all when carrying cargo rather than pax..well thats my planHighlandSniper wrote:My son is really excited over this one - I was very lucky and scored the E-2 in the FC BoMF auction earlier in the year, this will be a nice companion to it and I have some nice reference pix taken at Kinloss a few years back. Go on make a Hawkeye its a nice kit...they will look good togtherSheff wrote:I've been waiting for the Greyhound for months! I keep looking at the Hawkeye in the local model shop and telling myself to leave it on the shelf and wait for the Greyhound...
I have to echo that - my son has the Hawkeye and it's a lovely kit. The big plus is that although both the Hawkeye and Greyhound are biggish models in 1:48, they have fairly small footprints if built with their wings folded and anyone who knows my obsession with what I call Foldy-Wingy-Thingies there is no option - they MUST be folded - after all how do they spend most of their lives?VIDAR700 wrote:Go on make a Hawkeye its a nice kit...they will look good togtherSheff wrote:I've been waiting for the Greyhound for months!
