What is that in the top right hand corner of the map? Is it watermark or has Waddington been visited by creatures of a higher intelligence? And I don't mean Liam Fox! :D
It does look like a crop circle! :) It is the Google Earth tools for the map. First one is 'click to look around' via the point of the compass, Second one is 'click to move around' and the third one down is the zoom button.

It was down on the list of timings for Thursday from John, but he has been asked to remove them, also the facebook group had copied them and also has had to remove them, it was down as Hawk T2? followed by the time.

Give Barn Farm a call though they may be full by now but it is a cracking little camp site that is situated on the edge of the base.

I know john it is all coming from the RIAT pages or Thunderbirds haters, maybe this is what they were after!

All i can say we will find out tomorrow and i am hoping its not true! But i am thinking the same as you and its a false call!

I am hoping false only thing I could link it to is a F16-C crash yesterday which was from Nellis AFB same base as the Thunderbirds. However I see nothing saying that the Thunderbirds display team have been grounded or anything.

If you're NOT going on to the airfield, the police cone off all the roads for miles around, GOOD LUCK! ;)

Not very - the wind direction suggests that aircraft will be landing from the south over the next couple of days.

If you're planning to take a look though, do what I do - get a train to Lincoln and walk down, or catch a bus to Bracebridge Heath (Route No.1). No car parking hassle and you can stand anywhere you like. Simples.

My Waddo adventure starts now just about to leave from Balloch Loch Lomand (20 miles west of Glasgow) and go down and pick my dad up from Saltcoats (Near Prestwick airport). After that will be heading down to Waddo with a stop off at Southwaite so the daughter can tire herself out and hopefully sleep the rest of the journey down.

Shall be in the viewing area Thursday and Friday driving a gold coloured Vauxhall Astra.
