Re: Bastille Day Flyover
Nice one
I assume the route is back pass Les Invalides after the Olympics

Re: Bastille Day Flyover
I was happy with the flightpath they used last year, so wouldn't mind them sticking to it this year
.
Kind Regards.

Re: Bastille Day Flyover
newbie question, sorry, would the flypast be viewable from Le Bourget? (incl helicopters?) (possibly depends on the route i guess, but thought i'd ask) - thoughts please, thanks in advance

Re: Bastille Day Flyover
Hi John,
No. You would be about 8 miles from the centre-line (Av. des Champs Elysees) of the flypast and the aircraft would be at about 1000ft.
A neat, concise guide to viewing said flypast is available on https://wagsite.co.uk/ under 'recent reports'.
(A 'day return' flight is available with easyJet out of Luton to Charles de Gaulle.)

Booked!
I am going to Les Invalides - bit into the sun but you can usually identify everything although my go to lens for this sort of thing is broken again and being fixed again by nikon - not worried as generally there are quite a few spotters in that location to crib off

Re: Bastille Day Flyover
Looks like the Flypast participants are making their way to the Paris area, presumably for a practice?
