These guys really don't mince their words!

Nice to see someone dealing with terrorists other than the UK and US.
UK MoD: British forces 'played their part' in attempts to prevent further escalation
British forces "played their part" in attempts to prevent further escalation in the Middle East tonight, says defence secretary John Healey.
However, it's not clear what role any UK forces played, or whether personnel were involved in shooting down any of the missiles fired by Iran at Israel - as US forces did.
In a statement posted by the UK Ministry of Defence, Mr Healey condemned Iran's attacks on Israel and thanked British personnel involved in the unspecified operations.
He said the UK "stands fully behind Israel's right to defend its country".
The MoD is not confirming what kind of support it gave Israel, but RAF Typhoon jets, operating from an air base in Cyprus, were deployed to help Israel during Iran's previous attack in April.
The same kind of help could have been given this time.
Agree, the word 'airstrike' has nothing to do with military aviation obviously
Well some sources are reporting that one of the targets was Nevatim Air base, home of the F-35I fleet as well as some C-130s. Furthermore, RAF Typhoons were involved in missile interceptions.
How are Typhoons used to intercept ballistic missiles, genuine question, I didn't think they had any capability for this?
Most likely launching heat seekers at any missiles within range. They would be using the HMSS (Americans call it HMCS) to target the missiles just by turning their head at it.
It will be intelligence support and early warning. The use of over the horizon radar based in Cyprus along with other intelligence capabilities on the island. Pluto over the horizon radar was very active during the run up to and during the Iranian missile attack.Gary wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 10:18 pmUK MoD: British forces 'played their part' in attempts to prevent further escalation
