I can’t see any contact either, he just seems to fly through everyone, I think he was out before he hit the ground, hopefully that ends positive 🙏
he landed in the fencing position which indicative of a brain injury... it looks like he caught someones knee (keeper?)

Fingers crossed all is well and the major thing is the cheek fracture.

What puzzles me is the amount of slow motion shots that show no contact yet players writhe about in all matches.I thought the refs were to be hammering players for that.

Wow nailed on penalty for Croatia, Modric misses the pen, then a minute later scores in normal play.

Very unlucky for Croatia. They'll be gutted.

And for any youngsters who don’t understand, look up Morecombe and Wise with Andre Previn on YouTube.
That sketch ranks alongside “Fork ‘Andles”

Rice has already done more in the first 8 mins than I remember him doing in the whole of the Denmark game

What an amazingly boring game! Wonder who the media will scapegoat this time...

Walker is diabolical, and they dropped the RB/Experimental Midfielder for a player in hiding. But, Southgate got us out the groups so he'll stay on

Didn't sleep well last night. At least this is making me sleepy. England just need to shoot.

I’m beginning to wonder if the England team have taken a lesson from the politicians and bet on not winning the Euros.

  Must be Southgate too.

All the players trying to downplay all the valid criticisms, when truth is, they've got a rubbish setup from management, playing out of position and not the attacking football thst these players play day in, day out. No one else to blame other than Southgate.

2 goals, in 3 games, in a group like that is honestly just an embarrassment.

Yawn, England are the most boring team to watch in the Euros, and that's saying something when Italy are in the tournament!

Decided not to watch any more of the games, to focus on the cricket! We seem to be doing better there!!!

Kane anonymous again and for the first time this tournament Bellingham was nowhere today - he could have done with a rest after his exertions in the Champions League. Today was an opportunity to rest Bellingham (at least for the second half) and play Foden at 10 because he is wasted out on the left.

If Southgate is adamant that the system will not change then it would be better to start Gordon on the left as it is his natural position and leave Foden on the bench. Palmer and Mainoo looked good off the bench.

For the last 16 match (with Gareth's system, not mine, i must stress) I'd go with; Pickford, Walker, Stones, Guehi, Trippier(Shaw if fit), Rice, Mainoo, Gordon, Bellingham, Saka, Kane

But if it was up to me Palmer must start!

I'd still be putting Trent in over Walker but do agree there. Actually have some quality on the bench and when you've already qualified, why not rotate?!

I read somewhere Spain have already used 25 players!

Alexander-Arnold will never start again under this Southgate system. Him playing as a 'quarter-back' midfielder didn't work in the first two games and Walker's pace and experience is too important for him to be dropped. The only way T-A-A starts again would be if Southgate switched to three at the back with T-A-A as a wing back and Walker playing as a centre-half in a 3-5-2/3-4-2-1 but then you'd lose an attacking player for an additional centre-half
