Died today aged 69. Remember him a lot on Radio 1 in 80's.

Absolutely. The school bus always had Radio One on and Steve Wright in the Afternoon show would be on with his different characters.

That is sad. Not wild about him as a D.J. Though I did like his interviews. Couldn't stand the constant 'serious jokin'. Gone too soon tho'.
