Re: Atlantic Trident 23-1.
Still no sign of French Navy Rafales?
Today's weather looks slightly less bad so I think I will venture over as I need the twin pit - I hear the French are quite tricky to see and it is best to go the the other side - the end opposite the Wave and look back?
That sounds like they are parked where the Indian Mirages were?

That's exactly where they are - closest you can see is by walking up and down the A15
Depends if you need to read off the number or not
Waddo closed until 10am today

Re: Atlantic Trident 23-1.
09:50 could only see three from the A607 but fortunately one was a Rafale B
No activity around them (the canopy on 351 went up briefly)
Widget 49 about to take off from runway 20
( later that morning Boston 21-24 departed and landed at Leeming)

For completeness - all 4 Rafales are now at Leeming until at least tuesday.

Hi All, just for info, we visited 6:30am yesterday and the French E3 was clearly visible from the WAVE road. Hope this helps someone.

Do we have any more info on if the Rafales are coming back into Waddington tomorrow?

Re: Atlantic Trident 23-1.
Is the E-3 fixed and flying ?
Re: Atlantic Trident 23-1.
Yes, was up Friday/yesterday/today.
Re: Atlantic Trident 23-1.
Understand the FN Rafales were expected at Waddo to make 8 in total but they elected to operate from home in the end which is a shame!!

If this has already been asked then very sorry. But i can't seem to find the answer when does the EX end? Looking at popping up on Monday 13th to catch the French if there still here.
Many thanks

Re: Atlantic Trident 23-1.
Should end Friday 10th - unsure if the French will return after a morning sortie then depart in the afternoon, or go straight home.

Re: Atlantic Trident 23-1.
The E3 is planned to depart tomorrow (Thu) 0910 to Avord although its going to orbit in UK3 enroute
Re: Atlantic Trident 23-1.
E3 sat on the runway (20) waiting to leave to UK3 prior to Avoid. Some issue with flight plan delaying departure.
Re: Atlantic Trident 23-1.
E3 pulling a big circle over Norfolk nice trail
Re: Atlantic Trident 23-1.
Rafales left this morning, ground crew etc getting picked up from EMA, support seen being roaded out this morning.
