HOWLR 21/22 Departure 17-10-23

Post by Jonathan Warner » Tue Oct 17, 2023 10:08 am

With the weather nose diving this week and the winds favouring 09, i had to make the trip this morning for their departure! safe to say they didn't disappoint!
119 was first up with no issues, 124 was second and took the best part of 7-8 minutes going in and out of burner over and over again!! it was absolutely incredible to witness! ill add the Youtube video link to the bottom!...

Lovely shots! The first one with the sunrise sky is a stunner :)

The first one would look great blown up to a massive scale on my mancave wall!

Great pictures, thanks for sharing.

Another great set of images for the 'early bird'. The first with the sunrise & telephoto compression is my favourite!
(You do seem to have a strange obsession for 86-0124 ?)

You nearly took a tumble in a gust at 1m55. Glad you stayed up! I see you didn't zoom in on takeoff. Were you using your phone?

Great set of images, I've just noticed on the third shot, the vortex at the intake of the holding aircraft :thumb:
