RAF Lakenheath 19/5/23

Post by Callsign.Atari » Sun May 21, 2023 6:04 pm

Challenging conditions over at Lakenheath on Friday, it was warm but the light rain never passed. Here's my best of a few hours at the fence.

Hope you enjoy!

Great photos - thanks for posting them.
Was there a port side afterburner or engine problem with the F-15E in first couple of phots?

Cracking set. Can’t beat an unrestricted climb out.

The 'headless Eagle' in the second shot is a really interesting perspective. Looks like tough light to photograph in.

Everyone's a winner Matt. Nice to see some airborne close ups at Lakenheath.

Thank you very much, I'm unsure. This isn't the first time I have seen this though, maybe somebody else knows why this happens.
