I have heard that there is a RAF 330 MRTT due in this week long-haul but I haven't yet got the details.

The RAF MRTT should be in sunset tomorrow for a night stop and will leave Friday morning.

Nice to see the two Japanese 777's. They always send a back-up aircraft (just like the USAF with AF1) and are so risk averse they have been known in the past to run a recce flight with both crews the week before the main flight. I am not sure any other country does this.

There should be a Kuwait Air force C-17 in today 2pm'ish. Its a sunny day so might make a nice photo for someone. I am hoping it will be KAF343 as I haven't seen that one.

What a Landing by the KAF Whitetail C-17. The tower hinted that they wanted him to vacate as soon as possible after touch down on 040. It almost did a full tactical landing with heavy braking and loads of reverse thrust and vacated the runway on Victor which is the first taxiway on the left and is slightly backwards facing. Well worth going to watch.

I understand that the KAF C-17 is going across the pond, so there is a very good chance that we will get a return visit in a few days.

I believe there is a chance we could be seeing a USAF C-17 on Sunday.

Seemingly its a week for C-17's. I believe that there may be another one in early doors Saturday morning for a quick fuel stop. UAE I think.

According to Adsb Reach 408 C-17A 07-7184 USAF arrived at 18.43.

I was hoping we were going to get C-17 KAF3209 on its way back from the States, to make three different C-17's in a weekend, but it went to Prestwick instead. Regardless, a USAF C-17 is still something different given that they usually go to Mildenhall, I just wish it had come in a couple of hours before dark.
