Especially when you consider that Lewis has never put a single foot wrong, ever.
...Not pitting for softs in Abu Dhabi?... :P ;) :halo:
1, he wanted to pit. The team decided otherwise(correctly).
2, had he pitted, boy wonder wouldn't have and gained track position. And funnily enough, the rules would have been followed and the race finished under the safety car. Said wonder boy then legitimately wins the championship.
3, Hamilton was robbed, its fact.
No I know and agree, was just a leg pull. :P

It is, perhaps, important to realise why a lot of drivers live in Monaco. It is simple. It has very little to do with avoiding Income Tax, and everything to do with having a private home life. Papparazz1 are NOT allowed in Monte Carlo. Can you imagine Max Verstappen going shopping in Brussels or Amsterdam?? Sir Lewis on a commercial flight. Nobody very well known would get a moments piece with the great public thrusting a camera up their left nostril with the immortal words 'can I have a Selfie??. Valentino Rossi can't go anywhere in Italy, and even in this country he has to wear disguise!!. Fame has it's upsides, but also it's downside. Monaco is very nice however, and is ideally placed for travel. I once ticked off my youngest daughter for taking a 'selfie' with Evander Hollyfield in a hotel In Las Vegas when he was simply looking for 'downtime'. Famous people need privacy at times. [Nobody asks me for a 'selfie']. :S

It's just a coincidence then that they don't pay tax in Monaco, although I understand there is a discrete 'fee' that is levied for the up keep of the kingdom ?

To be honest I would not recognize Pierre Gasly if he came up and stamped on my foot in Brandon high street!

The 'discrete fee' is 25%... on everything!. I believe it was said that Sir Lewis pays taxes in 7 different countries.

Top, upstanding citizen wherever he lives.

I often feel that the reason Nico Rosberg was so unpopular, and he was, was that he chose to race under the German flag. Whilst his mum was German and he was born there, he was the son of top Finish driver Keke Rosberg and grew up in Monaco. He originally held a Finnish licence but switched to a German one for financial reasons. Let's just hope that we don't see the anti-vaxxer from his study on our screens ever again.

Nothing to do with the fact he's about as likeable as a prolapse?
And agree with that.

Can't say I know for sure it's exactly that many, but if not it's not far off the truth, which is overlooked by his haters. Who also ignore that fact that all the major drivers live in Monaco or Switzerland... A number of them in the same building!

Also apparently Reb Dull will be speaking to Sky again in Brazil.

Stoffel Vandoorne has joined Aston Martin as reserve driver for 2023, which I believe frees up a space at Mercedes....

A mention also must be given to Perez, who was seen to be waving a finger in disapproval at the crowd booing Hamilton mid-interview.

Indeed Lando's mother Cisca Nauman (Norris) is also Belgian. And indeed they do, but they suffered dreadfully during the two World Wars.

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

It's kept under wraps, only his family know, and I think Rubens Barrichello.

Jean Todt is a very close friend of the family, but nobody is giving anything away, and quite rightly if that's what the family wants.

always a good race at Interlagos. I suspect that the first corner will be very interesting for some, maybe disastrous for others. I have a feeling that this MAY result in a win for Lewis. I don't know why, but there can be many variables at this track. I hope so anyway, he has stuck with the team beautifully this year despite the difficulties. He deserves a win.

Be a shame if it was his 1st season without a win. I have high hopes, Sprint may take a few key people out, especially as you say the 1st corner can cause some issues. Max and Lewis have both had epic wins here. Regardless it usually throws up a good race.

Nico Rosberg as an individual, chose not to take the vaccine. That is his choice nobody else's. As an ex world champion in 2016 I think his insight is invaluable.

Hearing that George is KMags new best friend. I'd hoped that Lewis might be in with a chance this weekend, especially as it's his home GP now, maybe he can make up some places in the sprint, sadly I can only see KMag dropping back through the pack at an alarming rate. Glad the race is on at a more respectable time this week, fallen asleep during the last two.
And Ferrari, again, what the hell, are they actually trying to avoid winning races ?
