Ta

I need to change the total on base when I get a moment as it is wrong because I have allowed for ones at W-R twice

Four more RTB from Poland leaving 6
You said 8 494th rtb, then another 4, how does that leave 6?
Only 14 went east I thought?

Good line of sarcasm you got there ☺️

I updated the summary after I posted four more were coming - it's not an official record just a bit of fun

14 went to Poland as you say - I counted them going out and posted the 8 returnees

The 14 in Greece have got a question mark on Scramble with an end date of 8/4 for their exercise so they may return on Friday.

Why “if” the jets are at PDM? They were all noted on here with serials and departure dates and all went under RETRO callsigns. They’ve been gone for months. Where else would they be?

Because there's no guarantee all 9 of those airframes will come back to Lakenheath.

I mean do we know if it is still here or did it go on the back of one of those C5s?

Retro 31/32 brought two more F-35A today ( 19-5493 and 19-5495)

So that should be :-
54 F-15E ( 54 serials but some are on depot maintenance)
5 F-15C ( including the ghostly 84-0001)
9 F-35A ( 1x 493 FS, 8x 495 FS)

=68 48FW Aircraft

Less
9 F-15E away on depot maintenance
-----------
=59 48FW aircraft on base

Additionally

1 SJ F-15E (89-0505 y )

I think you have to assume the SJ is still present unless someone knows different.

Just a quick note to confirm, not that there were any doubts really, that 89-0505 is still at Lakenheath according to some friendly patch sellers.

54 F-15E ( 54 serials but some are on depot maintenance)
5 F-15C ( including the ghostly 84-0001 which apparently is now assigned to BDRT)
9 F-35A ( 1x 493 FS, 8x 495 FS)

=68 48FW Aircraft

Less
6 F-15E away on depot maintenance
-----------
=62 48FW aircraft on base

I read elsewhere that it was thought that there are 2 F35s away in Eastern Europe somewhere. Is this correct? Possibly 19-5476 & 19-5486

Update - 5486 noted this afternoon so i'm assuming the info is incorrect and all 9 F35s are at LKH.

Noticed that 3 of the 5 F35s that flew today (26/4) had names on the inside of the nose gear door:-
19-5473 “Hildr”
19-5474 “Herja”
19-5475 “Goll”
Had to be almost underneath them to notice the names.

I think I might add those in and include 84-0001 in with them

A spitfire is also visible - mock-up?
