Lake District (LFA17) - 24th March

Post by bigcrow » Mon Mar 28, 2022 2:17 pm

Time was running out for me in catching the 493rd FS with there F-15C’s at Low-Level, sixteen years I've been climbing hills & they've always eluded me. But last Thursday in the Lakes it finally came to fruition.

Also had the added bonus of the 'Valkyries' & 'Rocketeers' joining the party... :thumb:

Flipping hell, Stu. Absolutely wonderful. Aircraft over the dark lake are just phenomenal.

Staggering set, really pleased you caught the Reapers low level, but it is the minimalist shot 8 of the F-35 that stand out for me.

Great photos!! I've been lucky enough to see the Reapers at low level many times in LFA7 , doubt I'll see them again before they retire sadly.

Well done on your brilliant photos 👍👍

Exquisite

The images of the aircraft over the lake have a certain ethereal quality.
