Yeovilton 3-6-21

Post by bruiser » Sat Jun 05, 2021 11:15 am

Hi all,

My first visit to Pyle Lane from which I saw the following,

Merlin - ZJ123/G, ZJ128/M and another coded F, couldn't read the serial due to the heat haze.

Wildcats - ZZ394,520,392,393,409,525,526,527,386 all Army.
ZZ375,379,380 all Navy.

Tiger Moth - N-9328/69 Navy Wings I believe.

On the fire dump there seemed to be a Sea harrier, a GR3, Sea Hawk, Lynx and Wessex. I think I can ID the Wessex, GR3 and Sea hawk.
Any help with the others would be much appreciated.

All seen between 08:00 and 16:30.

XZ674 Lynx AH.7 dump - on it's skids
XZ719 Lynx HMA.8SRU dump - on it's side, starboard side up
WV911 Sea Hawk FGA.6 dump
XS513 Wessex HU.5 dump
