Culdrose 1981
Culdrose 1981
A fairly low key event but with nice old style Navy colour schemes.

A nice selection here, never did a Culdrose show, it being midweek and a long way from home. Trying to get time off could sometimes be an issue. Nice to see a Jetstream in hybrid scheme and the Sea Vixen too. I did do base tours in 1997 and 2007, the advantage being that you saw more than on an Air Day. Thank you for showing these.

Great shots. The pre Falklands SHAR scheme is rather tasty and I've never seen a RN Jetstream in the RAF colour scheme. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely stuff
Especially like XZ492 later to be an Argentinian Skyhawk killer
